Understanding Equity

Equity provides an effective mechanism for companies to finance growth and investors to generate wealth. It involves ownership, providing the potential for large returns but also carrying the risk of loss.

An efficient share market is essential for channelling savings between investors and companies trying to raise capital, and for determining the price at which equity securities are bought and sold.

This course provides attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the nature and crucial role of equity within the financial system.
