Career overview

Michael has over 18 years' experience in the financial services industry. He has previously worked as a statistician, market research analyst, consultant and senior financial adviser for a range of companies including Reark Financial Research, NTF Group, ANZ Private Bank, Henry Financial Group and Grant Thornton.

Current role

In his role as Research Manager, Advice Solutions, Michael is responsible for the ownership and design of the Approved Product List for Cameron Walshe, Guardian Financial Planning, Standard Pacific and Suncorp Financial Solutions, as well as the construction and maintenance of model portfolios. He is also the internal asset consultant for Standard Pacific's corporate superannuation funds.

Michael has been a postgraduate lecturer and assessment marker since 2004.
