Career overview

Hamish has over 13 years' experience in the preparation of Independent Expert Reports and the provision of valuation and corporate advice. He has worked across a variety of industries, including broadcasting and media, financial services, wagering and gaming, industrial and consumer markets, biotechnology, telecommunications, energy and resources, infrastructure, forestry and logistics.

Previous companies include ANZ, BHP Billiton, Bluescope, Crown, NAB, RACV, Sigma Pharmaceuticals and Toll.

Current role

As a partner, Hamish is responsible for developing client relationships; identifying, winning and delivering work; coaching and mentoring; and having some fun along the way.

Contribution to Kaplan Professional (formerly SIA and Finsia)

As a Task Force member for the FIN224 Applied Valuation postgraduate subject, Hamish is responsible for creating subject notes and writing and marking assessments. Hamish has also delivered lectures in the areas of valuation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate and structured finance.
