To comply with the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) guidelines, all Certificate of Registration and Licence holders must undertake 12 CPD points in the 12 months following the granting or renewal of Cerificate or Licence.
Kaplan Professional's ACT Real Estate Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshop entitles participants to 12 CPD points and complies with the ACT Agents (Continuing Professional Development) Guidelines 2008.

Our CPD education programs are ideal for individuals holding a current ACT and/or NSW Certificate of Registration or Licence.
What would I achieve upon completion?
A Statement of Attainment showing successful completion of a unit of competency from the CPP07 Property Services Training is granted to those participants completing 12 point workshop or 8 point ACT workshop. Other participants will be given a Certificate of Completion.
Training Program Information
CPD Workshops
Workshops are tailored for specific areas of practice. This program allows you to fulfil your CPD obligations in just 1.5 days.
Study Options
CPD for Real Estate Professionals is offered via workshops.
Workshops are run over 1.5 days and led by an experienced trainer.
Day 1 is an 8 point CPD workshop and runs from 9am - 5pm. This workshop covers the required units of competency and includes an in class assessment.
Day 2 is a 4 point CPD workshop and runs from 8:30am - 12:30pm. This workshop covers the ACT 4 point requirement and NSW 12 point requirement. There is no requirement for assessment for 4 points. In class assessments conducted for those participants requiring NSW 12 points.
The format for both days include PowerPoint presentations, facilitator-led discussion, workbook activities, case studies and in-class written assessments when required.
CPD Topics
The ACT CPD topic for 2009 is Agency Practice 09. This covers the remaining 4 points needed after completing the unit of competency.
