To become a licensed real estate agent in NSW you must complete the required educational program and meet all requirements specified by NSW Fair Trading. Kaplan Professional's NSW Real Estate Licence Program meets the educational requirements needed to become a licensed real estate agent in NSW.

Who Should Enrol

The NSW Real Estate Licensing Program is ideal for anyone currently in the industry and anyone new to the industry wanting to obtain a NSW Real Estate Licence, including:

New entrants to the industry
Certificate of Registration holders
Buyer's agents
Stock and station agents
Strata agents
Business brokers
Onsite property managers

Note: NSW Fair Trading issue all Certificates of Registration and licenses. Application forms can be downloaded from their website. Whilst all participants are provided with equal opportunity to complete their studies some participants who have a criminal record may not be able to obtain their Certificate of Registration or Licence.

What would I achieve upon completion?

Upon successful completion you will meet the educational requirements needed to apply to NSW Fair Trading for a NSW Real Estate Agent's Licence.

Study Options

This program is delivered via a combination of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and eLearning. You can also choose to complete the program in subject groups. Adjust your study load to suit your needs and pay as you go.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is a formal assessment process that recognises your current skill and knowledge. If you have the necessary experience and skill you may be competent in one or more of the units even though you have not completed recognised training.

eLearning

We offer a state of the art eLearning centre which is a flexible online working space where you complete your training at a time and place that suits you. This flexible learning option allows you to study at your own pace – wherever you are – and adjust your study-load to meet your needs. You will receive all materials and resources needed to complete the program and subject groups online.
