QLD Auctioneer's Licence Program

To become an auctioneer in Queensland you are required by the QLD Department of Fair Trading to have demonstrated competency in 5 units and have conducted 5 auctions as a registered trainee auctioneer under the supervision of a licensed auctioneer.

What would I achieve upon completion?

With Kaplan Professional you can complete the 2 units (CPPDSM4004A & CPPDSM4014A) needed to become a registered trainee auctioneer and then conduct your auctions whilst completing the remaining 3 units needed to become a licensed auctioneer. You can complete your licence study whilst conducting your required 5 auctions allowing you to obtain your education requirements in a convenient and time efficient manner.

Study Options

You can complete this training program via eLearning or through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). A skills assessment needs to be completed for CPPDSM4004A.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is a formal assessment process that recognises your current skill and knowledge. If you have the necessary experience and skill you may be competent in one or more of the units even though you have not completed recognised training.

eLearning

We offer a state of the art eLearning centre which is a flexible online working space where you can complete your training at a time and place that suits you. This flexible learning option allows you to study at your own pace – wherever you are – and adjust your study load to meet your needs. You will receive all materials and resources needed to complete the program online.
