QLD Property Traineeships

With Kaplan Professional you can do both using a time and cost-effective property traineeship program that provides benefits to you as well as your recruit.

Program Information

Our Property Traineeship Programs run over 12 months, and cover the essential education and assessment required for a Certificate IV in Property (Real Estate).

Note: Office of Fair Trading issue all Certificates of Registration and licenses. Application forms can be downloaded from their website. Whilst all participants are provided with equal opportunity to complete their studies some participants who have a criminal record may not be able to obtain their Certificate of Registration or License. Contact the Office of Fair Trading for more information.

Flexible study options

The program can be delivered through a series of facilitated workshops or via a comprehensive self-study program (in limited cases) with email assistance and telephone support. The program is designed to be complemented by hands-on experience in the workplace, which provides a total learning experience for the trainee.

How you’ll benefit

• You will receive an employer incentive grant by employing a trainee if the trainee meets Government eligibility requirements
• You will reduce fixed wage costs by paying trainees the trainee award rate for the duration of the traineeship
• Your employees will gain vital knowledge and insights from leading industry experts, as well as meeting the requirements to work in the real estate industry
• Office disruption will be kept to a minimum with trainees only out of the office for a short periods of time each month during their traineeship

How your trainee will benefit

• Trainees will achieve a nationally-recognised qualification and will be eligible to apply for their Certificate of Registration upon successful completion
• Employment for the trainee will be secured for the period of the traineeship, including a one-month probation period
• Trainees will receive training from industry professionals who will provide them with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in the real estate industry
• On completion of our Property Traineeship Program, trainees who wish to apply for a QLD Real Estate Agents Licence will only have to complete up to four additional units of competency. This provides them with a clear pathway for ongoing development and success in the real estate industry
