QLD Certificate of Registration Program

If you are interested in selling real estate or become a property manager you'll be required to hold a Certificate of Registration in QLD. Kaplan Professional's QLD Certificate of Registration Program meets the educational requirements needed to apply for a Certificate of Registration issued by the Department of Fair Trading.

Who Should Enrol

Our QLD Certificate of Registration Program is ideal for:

  • New entrants to the QLD real estate industry
  • Administrative staff within existing real estate businesses in QLD wanting to up-skill

Note: The Department of Fair Trading issue all Certificates of Registration and licences. Application forms can be downloaded from their website. Whilst all participants are provided with equal opportunity to complete their studies some participants who have a criminal record may not be able to obtain their Certificate of Registration or Licence.

What would I achieve upon completion?

Upon successful completion you will gain fundamental knowledge needed to work in the QLD real estate sector. You will also be able to apply to Department of Fair Trading for a Certificate of Registration.

Study Options

This program can be completed by eLearning or if you can demonstrate relevant skills and knowledge, through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).




Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is a formal assessment process that recognises your current skill and knowledge. If you have the necessary experience and skill you may be competent in one or more of the units even though you have not completed recognised training.

eLearning

We offer a state of the art eLearning centre which is a flexible online working space where you can complete your training at a time and place that suits you. This flexible learning option allows you to study at your own pace – wherever you are – and adjust your study load to meet your needs. You will receive all materials and resources needed to complete the program online.

Assessment

This program is assessed through the use of multiple-choice questions.

How to apply for your Certificate of Registration

You must apply to the QLD Department of Fair Trading for your Certificate of Registration.
