Training Program Information

Our Property Traineeship Programs run over 12 - 24 months full time or 24 - 48 months part time, and cover the essential education and assessment required for CPP30207 Certificate III in Property Services (Agency) or CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate), including Certificate of Registration training program.

The actual time taken to complete the Traineeship Program will depend upon the level of skill of the trainee, any prior learning and the speed at which they learn and master the competencies. Some trainees take the full allocated time and others complete their traineeship in less time.

Note: Office of Fair Trading issue all Certificates of Registration and licenses. Application forms can be downloaded from their website. Whilst all participants are provided with equal opportunity to complete their studies some participants who have a criminal record may not be able to obtain their Certificate of Registration or License. Study Options

The program can be delivered through a comprehensive self-study program with support via workplace visits, email and telephone assistance. Also tutorials will be offered at times throughout the traineeship. The program is designed to be complemented by hands-on experience in the workplace, which provides a total learning experience for the trainee.

How you'll benefit

  • You will receive employer incentive payments of upto $4,000 by employing a trainee if the trainee meets Government eligibility requirements. To Find out more about eligibility please contact an Australian Apprenticeship Centre.
  • You will reduce fixed wage costs by paying trainees the trainee award rate for the duration of the traineeship. For more information contact Wageline 1300 369 945 or www.wageline.qld.gov.au.
  • Your employees will gain vital knowledge and insights from leading industry experts, as well as meeting the requirements to work in the real estate industry
  • Office disruption will be kept to a minimum with allocated study time to be given to the trainee to complete assessments or a short period of time away from the office to attend tutorials. This is negotiated at sign up when completing the plan. 

How your trainee will benefit

On completion of the Property Traineeship Program, trainees will be eligible to apply for a QLD Real Estate Agents Licence. This provides them with a clear pathway for ongoing development and success in the real estate industry.
