Tasmania Real Estate Licence Program

To become a licensed real estate agent in TAS you must complete the educational program plus meet all of the other requirements as specified by the Property Agents Board (PAB). Kaplan Professional's TAS Licence Program meets the educational requirements needed to be a licensed real estate agent in TAS.

Who Should Enrol

The Tas Real Estate Licence Program is ideal for anyone currently in the industry and anyone new to the industry wanting to obtain a Tas Real Estate Licence, including:

  • Property consultants with 2 years experience in the previous 5 years. 
  • Property officers wishing to become a property manager

Note:  PAB issue all Certificates of Registration and licenses. Application forms can be downloaded from their website. Whilst all participants are provided with equal opportunity to complete their studies some participants who have a criminal record may not be able to obtain their Certificate of Registration or Licence. What would I achieve upon completion?

Upon successful completion, you will be issued with a Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management), meeting the educational requirements needed to apply to the PAB for a TAS Real Estate Agent's Licence.

This program is delivered via a combination of Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and eLearning.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is a formal assessment process that recognises your current skill and knowledge. If you have the necessary experience and skill you may be competent in one or more of the units even though you have not completed recognised training. eLearning

We offer a state of the art eLearning centre which is a flexible online working space where you complete your training at a time and place that suits you. This flexible learning option allows you to study at your own pace – wherever you are – and adjust your study-load to meet your needs. It’s easy to use and convenient. You will receive all materials and resources needed to complete the program online.

Assessments must be completed for each unit and are submitted online. Technical support from industry practitioners is available via email or telephone.

Fees

  • Full Licence program: $3,325
  • Individual unit: $155
  • Individual workshop price: $285
  • RPL Application fee (non refundable): $150
