VIC Agents Representative Program

Kaplan Professional's VIC Agents Representative Program provides students with the educational requirements needed to apply to become an Agents Representative in Victoria. To become an Agents Representative in VIC, you must complete the educational program plus meet all of the other requirements as specified, by the Business Licensing Authority.

Note: Whilst all participants are provided with equal opportunity to complete their studies some participants who have a criminal record may not be approved to become and Agent's Representative. Contact the Business Licensing Authority for more information.

What would I achieve upon completion?

Upon successful completion, you will be issued with a Statement of Attainment verifying completion of the VIC Agents Representative program. This will grant you the educational requirements needed for your principal to register you as an Agent's Representative.

Training Program Information

Kaplan Professional's VIC Agents Representative Program covers the following units:

  • CPPDSM4007A Identify legal and ethical requirements of property management to complete agency work
  • CPPDSM4008A Identify legal and ethical requirements of property sales to complete agency work
  • CPPDSM4080A Work in the real estate industry

All learning material is prescribed and written by VETASSESS.

Study Options

A hard copy of all learning material, hand-outs and assessments will be sent out. Completed assessments must then be returned for marking.



Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

RPL is a formal assessment process to assist applicants to gain exemptions toward the requirements for VIC Agents Representative Program. It formally recognises the skills and knowledge earned by learning from other courses, life experience, work experience or any training provided at work. These components are then measured against the requirements of the program. Applications for RPL may be made for 1 or all units in the program.

The RPL process requires the presentation of evidence to support claims for recognition of competency. Applicants are required to submit a portfolio of evidence and undertake an RPL assessment interview with a qualified assessor.
