Transition Information
You can transition into any of the following courses with recognition for the subjects you have completed:
- the Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance
- the Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance
- the Master of Applied Finance.
The Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance will give you a rock solid foundation for your career in financial services. The Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance sets the benchmark for practical learning in financial services education and enjoys industry-wide endorsement from leading employers. The Master of Applied Finance is a prestigious qualification that will give you the high-level professional knowledge and skills you need to excel.
Why you should transition
With our 3-step learning path it is now easier for you to progress from a Graduate Certificate to a Graduate Diploma or Masters.
Plus, at Graduate Diploma and Masters level you can now choose from over 30 elective subjects, including two new financial planning subjects. You can specialise in one of the following areas of professional practice and graduate with a major in that area:
- Financial planning
- Wealth management
- Banking
- Investment
- Financial markets
- Corporate finance/advisory.
If you complete a Graduate Diploma or Masters with a financial planning major you will meet several ASIC RG 146 compliance requirements and be eligible for exemptions for CFP2, CFP3 and CFP4 from the Financial Planning Association's (FPA) CFP® Certification Program.
