Study Support
Kaplan Professional provides a number of support services should you require assistance with your studies.
Kaplan Professional website
The Kaplan Professional website should be your first point of contact. The website provides specific subject, study, policy and forms information. The Kaplan website is continually updated and improved delivering you the most up-to-date information.
Technical content support
Answers to all assessment questions can be located in your learning materials. Should you require additional assistance in understanding either learning or assessment material, an email can be sent detailing your questions to realestate@kaplan.edu.au. Experienced practitioners respond to enquiries generally within two working days.
Telephone support is also available to students to assist with clarification of learning material or assessment questions. Details for telephone support are provided in students confirmation.
Support for students with special needs
If you have a condition or special learning need which impacts on your ability to study or to complete assessment, the following application processes are available to you:
-
For a condition or special learning need existing at the time of your initial enrolment, refer to the Reasonable Adjustment application form.
-
For a condition or special need that occurs during the course of your study, refer to the Special Consideration application form.
Please make us aware of your circumstance at the time of your enrolment, or as soon as possible thereafter. Refer to the Assessment Policy for further information on both of these processes.
Literacy, study skills and language support
Kaplan Professional programs are delivered in English and all assessments must be completed by the student in English. If you have any doubts about whether you have the language, literacy and numeracy skills to undertake a Kaplan Professional program, you are recommended to seek support from the following service. Any costs incurred as a result of these services will be your own responsibility.
Study guide for Kaplan Professional students
A Study Guide is provided in the introduction material in course folders. This guide is designed to assist with strategies to use when studying and preparing for your assessments. As well as providing an indication of Kaplan’s workload expectations, it also provides some tips and hints to help with your study.
Learning materials
Upon enrolment, all students will receive their learning materials by courier to the address nominated at the time of enrolment.
Learning materials contain:
- clearly defined learning outcomes
- comprehensive coverage of content
- assessments required to complete
- sample forms where appropriate
Learning materials can be delivered to a post office box (within Australia only) or street address and must be signed for. They will be delivered within 10 working days of enrolment.
Progam completion timeframes
The flexi-study delivery allows you to enrol at any time based upon your learning needs and availability to allocate time to study. Refer to the program offerings on the Real Estate pages for program completion timeframes.
