Webb Martin Training
Webb Martin Training commenced business in 1989 when its founders, tax professionals Veronica Webb and Evelyn Martin, identified a need of small to medium sized accounting practices to improve their in-house training and keep up to date with Federal- and State-level taxation developments affecting their clients.
Webb and Martin met this need by using trained tax advisers, who were also trained public speakers, to deliver in-house training sessions that appealed to all members of staff, from partner level down to the graduate accountant. The company soon set the standard for tax training, providing high quality training notes and popular workshops presented by engaging and dedicated professionals.
From this humble beginning their reputation grew, and Webb Martin Training quickly became the premier provider of professional taxation training to accounting firms Australia-wide, servicing over 350 accounting firms and 5,000 accountants and tax professionals.
Webb Martin Training operated as a private company for many years before being acquired by Tribeca Learning in 2004. Tribeca Learning was subsequently acquired by Kaplan Professional in 2006. Today, Kaplan Professional continues to offer the same high quality training notes and popular workshops.
