Understanding Alternative Products will provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to assist with the processing of a wide range of specialist lending services. Individuals who complete this program will also learn about ethical and responsible conduct concerning non‑National Consumer Credit Protection (NCCP) loans. Program information Learning Outcomes: On successful completion of Understanding Alternative Lending Products, individuals should be able to: Understand a wide range of specialist lending facilities Process loan applications for a wide range of specialist lending facilities, from initial client communication through to post-settlement account structuring and handling Evaluate the different types of finance products and match them to the appropriate client Demonstrate responsible and ethical conduct concerning loans not covered by the NCCP Topics: Overview of specialised lending structures Ethical and responsible conduct for loans not covered by the NCCP Units of competency: There are no units of competency awarded in this program.
