Are you an experienced Finance or Mortgage Broker wanting to have your knowledge and skills recognised by the industry?

The Advanced Certification Program in Commercial and Asset Finance is designed to educate and recognise experienced individuals who are currently working in the industry.

The program is a component in the Certified Finance and Mortgage Institute of Australasia (CFMIA)’s Designation for those in the industry wanting a formal Certification.

Learning Outcomes

Upon successful completion of the program, individuals should be able to:

1. Understand various Complex Lending products available within the market.
2. Examine a client’s financial position in order to recommend a suitable product that meet their needs.
3. Structure products to meet clients needs and their financial position.
4. Apply ‘Best Practice’ principles.
5. Implement the requirements of Legislation and industry requirements.

Duration

Individuals have a total of 12 weeks to complete the learning and assessment requirements for ACPCAF Advanced Certification Program in Commercial and Asset Finance from their initial activation date.

Pathways

Designations

Individuals who successfully complete the program may apply to the Certified Finance and Mortgage Institute of Australasia (CFMIA) to gain either the ‘Certified Finance Broker’ (CFB) or ‘Certified Finance Consultant (CFC) designation. For more information, please contact the CFMIA directly.

Career pathways

Candidates who meet all the program requirements may be able to seek work in the financial services industry in a finance and mortgage broking-related role.

Fees

$1,150 incl GST for the CFMIA Designation and the fees are payable direct to the CFMIA.

Entry requirements

Educational requirements

Individuals are required to have completed FNS50315 or FNS50320 Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management and three (3) years minimum industry experience in Finance and Mortgage Broking to enrol in this program.

Individuals may enrol into the Advanced Certification Program in Commercial and Asset Finance at any time.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)

No RPL is available for this program.

Assessment

The assessment tasks for this course are listed below.

Individuals must complete the online quiz within twelve (12) weeks of their initial activation date. To successfully complete this program, students must demonstrate competency in the quiz with a pass rate of 100% in the online quiz. To complete the quiz, individuals must successfully answer all sixty (60) questions correctly. If students do not meet this pass mark, they will have the opportunity to re-attempt the questions that were not correct.

Individuals can attempt the quiz three (3) times in total.

Individuals who complete this program will receive a certificate of completion.
