Are you looking at becoming an onsite residential property manager in NSW?
Kaplan Professional’s online NSW Onsite residential property manager’s program is ideal if you wish to become an onsite residential property manager in NSW. A NSW Onsite Residential Property Manager Licence allows you to do the letting of, including collecting rent and bonds and organising the maintenance for, one residential complex.
An onsite residential property manager’s licence is subject to the condition the licensee must not carry on business as an on-site residential property manager in respect of premises unless:
a) the licensee’s principal place of residence is situated at those premises; and
b) the licensee owns, or has an interest prescribed by the regulations in, that principal place of residence.
This condition prevents a person from being an on-site residential property manager for more than one residential complex. If this condition is not satisfied, a full real estate licence is required to operate the letting business (for instance where the manager is conducting lettings in more than one complex).
Please note: You must also live on site to be eligible to apply for an Onsite Residential Property Manager’s Licence.
Benefits for you:
On successful completion of our NSW Onsite Residential Manager Licence Program, you will be awarded a Statement of Attainment for 10 completed units within the Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) CPP40307. You may wish to do further study by completing a full Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) to apply for a full real estate licence.
