Are you a training manager looking for compliance training for employees?
The Tier 2 RG146 Accreditation Online training program is specifically designed for corporate organisations that require employees to hold accreditation in General and/or Personal Advice in basic deposit and non-cash payment products and/or general insurance.
In the eLearning environment, students take on the role of a customer liaison officer at a fictional general insurance and banking business. Students are presented with realistic tasks to develop their skills and knowledge of workplace practice and to prepare them for the exam at the end of each module.

Individuals have a total of 90 days to complete the assessment requirements for each subject.
The amount of training for this course is 15 hours per week. The amount of training is the hours an individual can expect to spend to complete their course work and assessments.
In addition to the amount of training, individuals who are new to industry or vocational training could need up to 5 hours per week known as unsupervised hours.
The unsupervised hours will vary with the experience of the individuals. Unsupervised hours are calculated as 5 hours per week for the 13 week course.
Individuals in industry may not need to utilise the unsupervised hours. Experienced Individuals who are working in industry may complete their course in a shorter timeframe if they are eligible for Recognition of Prior Learning and/or Credit Transfer (CT).
There are no entry or eligibility requirements for this qualification.
Individuals are required to be aged 18 years or older to enrol in this course.
This course requires you to read modules with transcripts provided on screens and audio narration, exams and oral assessments.

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Individuals may be able to obtain Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) for a Kaplan award subject based on their previous study and/or work experience. To do this, individuals must submit evidence that demonstrates they have already met the requirements of the subject through these other means.
Evidence can take many forms, such as information about approved study, information about work experience, certificates, transcripts or other credentials.

After completing the Tier 2 General Insurance stream, you may enrol in Kaplan’s Tier 1 General Insurance course.
Although it is not an entry requirement, Tier 2 General Insurance provides underpinning knowledge for FNS41415 Certificate IV in General Insurance.
The Tier 2 accreditation program provides the entry level requirements for those required to provide general or personal advice in basic deposit and non-cash payment products and /or general insurance.
Continuing professional development (CPD) of your knowledge and skills is essential to remaining compliant under ASIC’s Regulatory Guide 146 (RG146).
Kaplan offers CPD training through Ontrack — our online CPD platform — which delivers monthly multimedia training, along with tracking and reporting capabilities.

Each module has one short exam:
Type of exam: open book, multiple-choice exam. Exam questions are randomised per person per sitting.
Score required to pass this module: 100%
Time limit: Unlimited
Number of exam attempts allowed: Three (3) attempts at the exam before the module is reset and has to be redone.
At completion of the modules and exams all students are required to complete a Workplace Validation Report. If students are not working in the industry, a roleplay will be conducted with a Kaplan assessor.
Individuals who enrol in a Kaplan Professional course are bound by our published policies, including the policy that sets out our rules for assessment. Individuals can review these policies here.
