Graduation is the highlight of our year and it is such a privilege to be able to share the night with our graduands and their family and friends. What makes graduation so special is the unique story each and every graduand from around the country has to share.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Kaplan Professional has made the decision to postpone this year’s Graduation Ceremony and Presentation of Awards in all states. As this is one of the highlights of our calendar, please be assured we’ll endeavour to reschedule these for next year.

Eligible graduands’ testamurs will be posted to the mailing address we have on file later this year.

Graduation ceremonies are held in CBD locations across Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney. Once you receive your official invitation, you can select which city you prefer to attend your ceremony in.

Our graduation ceremonies are held in the evening, allowing graduands who work full-time to attend.

Invitations are generally sent via email six weeks prior to the first ceremony.

Individuals who successfully complete their qualification in Study Period 1, 2 and 3 will be invited to the ceremony in October/November the same year. Individuals who successfully completed their qualification in Study Period 4, 5 and 6 will be invited to the graduation ceremony in October/November the following year.

The ceremony will include official proceedings with a welcome from a member of Kaplan Professional’s executive team, a guest speaker and student speaker. Each graduate will be officially presented with their testamur. Drinks and canapés will be served at the conclusion of the official proceedings, which also provides our graduands and their guests an opportunity to network.

Yes, a professional photographer will attend the ceremony and take a photograph of each graduand receiving their testamur on stage. You’ll also have the opportunity to request additional photos before and after the official proceedings.

Photographs will be available for purchase directly from the photographer after the ceremony.

The evening will run for approximately two hours.

Yes, we encourage our graduands to celebrate with friends and family. Each graduand can bring up to two guests. Due to room capacity, any additional guest requests can be placed on a wait list and you’ll be contacted prior to your ceremony to advise if space for your additional guests becomes available.

Yes, most venues will allow under 18s to attend their venue. Children will be included in your two-guest limit.

Graduation is a complimentary event, which is free to attend.

If you’re unable to attend your city’s graduation ceremony, you’re welcome to attend a ceremony in another city. You’ll be able to make this selection once you receive your official invite.

If you’re unable to attend at all, please let us know when you receive your official invitation. We’ll mail your testamur at the conclusion of our graduation ceremonies.

Yes, you can request your testamur be mailed to you should you require it prior to your graduation ceremony. Once you receive notification you are eligible to graduate, please submit your request by emailing or call 1300 135 798 (select option 1).

Yes, you can still attend graduation. You’ll be presented with a copy of your testamur on the night of graduation if you have received it earlier.
