To successfully complete the FChFP Certification, participants must achieve a pass mark of at least 70% in each assessment.
• Four multiple-choice exams
• One practical case study assignment
Each subject requires 10 training hours. The minimum duration of the FChFP Certification is six and a half (6.5) months and individuals must not exceed the progression timeframe of three (3) years. Please note, this course is only offered to permanent residents and citizens here in Singapore.
The FChFP Certification consists of five core subjects which explore various financial advice concepts, including:
• estate planning
• wealth protection
• legacy planning
These subjects cover the required technical skills and competencies of a financial adviser required by the Institute of Banking and Finance Singapore (IBF).
The FChFP designation will be awarded by APFinSA on successful completion.
IBF Accreditation
Accredited Level 2 and 3 by the Institute of Banking and Finance (IBF) in Singapore under the Skills Framework for Financial Services, the FChFP Certification is a purpose-built education pathway for financial advisers.
The FChFP Certification is also accredited for 6 hours of Core FAA Ethics CPD.
The SkillsFuture Credit is a government initiative aimed at encouraging individual ownership of skills development and lifelong learning.
All Singaporeans aged 25 and above can use their SkillsFuture Credit for SFC-eligible programmes, including the FChFP Certification.
Please note that SkillsFuture Credit isn’t applicable for employer-sponsored training.

2024 Cohort Study Intakes
The FChFP Certification comprises 5 subjects that require 10 training hours each. It is designed and recommended to be completed within a nominated cohort. For detailed study dates and times, please click on your preferred cohort below.
*Please note: We require a minimum number of students enrolled in each intake for it to proceed as planned. In the event an intake is cancelled, we will work with you to enrol you into another suitable intake.

This exclusive offer enables alumni to complete their remaining four subjects – two core subjects (FPC009 Complex Financial Planning and KAP001 Capstone Project) and two electives – at a substantially reduced cost compared to standard postgraduate tuition fees.
To access the offer, eligible alumni must enrol and commence their first subject by the Study Period 2 census date, 25 March 2026.
