Understanding Financial Statements
|
Financial statements monitor and communicate the performance of a business by providing information on a company’s current financial position and assets and liabilities. Whether making an investment decision, analysing a credit application or monitoring business progress, financial statements represent the best source of information on a company. Finance and credit professionals need to understand the fundamental purpose and structure of financial statements and the way in which the information contained in them can be used.
