Exemption pathways
Recognition of Current Competency (RCC)
When the skills, knowledge and experience you use in your current and/or recent workplace can be assessed as meeting the requirements of a Kaplan Professional Education subject.
Mutual Recognition
When the units of competency awarded to you by another Registered Training Organisation are an exact match to those in a Kaplan Professional Education subject.
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
When a program of accredited study you have previously undertaken meets the requirements of a Kaplan Professional Education subject.
Assessment Only
When you cannot provide documentary evidence of previous relevant study or current work experience
The exemption will be awarded to you after you have successfully attempted the Kaplan Professional Education assessment tasks for a subject. Should you choose this option, you will only be given access to the assessment material for a subject. You will not have access any learning resources as in selecting this pathway, an assumption is being made that you are competent, but have no evidence to support your claim.
