Responsible Manager Masterclass

Running a financial services business means dealing with continual change and risks to the business and its clients. For responsible managers and senior compliance professionals who hold an Australian Financial Services Licence, it is essential to stay on top of what is happening in the industry and understand the impact of regulatory developments and how to implement required changes.

The Responsible Manager Masterclass series is an ongoing program of workshops designed to help responsible managers, responsible executives, compliance managers, company directors and CEOs keep on top of current and emerging issues affecting licensees.

Each high-level, forum-style workshop runs for just 2.5 hours and provides participants with valuable opportunities to discuss current legal, regulatory, market and business related issues and learn from others facing the same challenges. Because each Masterclass examines the current issues and most recent updates, we encourage participants to attend every session.

The Responsible Manager Masterclass series builds on the following short courses offered by Kaplan Professional:

  • Law, Regulation and Compliance in Financial Services
  • Risk Management, Compliance Planning and Ethics in Financial Services.

Expressions of Interest: We can schedule workshops for small groups at mutually suitable times at Kaplan Professional. If you are interested in attending a workshop, please complete an Expression of Interest form to enable us assess the level of interest for that course. We will then place your name on our waiting list for that particular course and will contact you as soon as we have received sufficient interest to run the course. (A minimum of 8 participants is required to run a course.) Scheduled courses may then be open to the public.
