Accelerate financial advice careers with confidence and clarity

What is the Financial Adviser Accelerator Suite?

The Financial Adviser Accelerator Suite (FAAS) is Kaplan Professional’s interactive financial adviser training program for new entrants, provisional advisers and early-career advisers in Australia. The program is structured around four pillars of financial advice (Fundamentals, Client Care, Client Engagement and Quality Processes).

Each topic delivers 20 hours of structured training for those undergoing their Professional Year (PY), or 5 hours of CPD. Those with an Ontrack account can record their PY and CPD hours seamlessly within the platform.

Topics are designed to be completed over six weeks, with up to 12 weeks of access for flexibility, and finish with a certificate of completion. Built with industry insight, FAAS bridges the skills gap between formal study and real client work, preparing you to make an immediate impact whatever stage of your career you’re at.

Key benefits

Who is the Financial Adviser Accelerator Suite (FAAS) designed for?

Each FAAS topic can count toward the 100 hours of structured training required during the PY. Each Topic builds real client skills and while meeting regulatory obligations at the same time.

For those who have recently completed an FAS-approved degree and are about to start their PY or first adviser role, FAAS provides a structured pathway into the profession with practical, scenario-based learning on top of the formal FAS-approved qualification.

Continue developing the soft skills, client engagement techniques and ethical reasoning that separate competent advisers from great ones.

Transitioning from accounting, banking, paraplanning or another financial services role? FAAS bridges the gap between adjacent financial knowledge and confident client-facing advice.

Accessible pricing and self-select topic options make it easy to upskill yourself or your entire team. Especially if you are responsible for training supporting long- term success across your business.

Gain the skills and confidence to contribute from day one, with a structured program that signals professionalism and readiness to employers.

Fast-track the development of core capabilities, including operating in an advice workplace, client communication and engagement, ethical decision-making, regulatory understanding, and quality assurance.
