The Financial Adviser Accelerator Suite (FAAS) is Kaplan Professional’s interactive financial adviser training program for new entrants, provisional advisers and early-career advisers in Australia. The program is structured around four pillars of financial advice (Fundamentals, Client Care, Client Engagement and Quality Processes).

Each topic delivers 20 hours of structured training for those undergoing their Professional Year (PY), or 5 hours of CPD. Those with an Ontrack account can record their PY and CPD hours seamlessly within the platform.
Topics are designed to be completed over six weeks, with up to 12 weeks of access for flexibility, and finish with a certificate of completion. Built with industry insight, FAAS bridges the skills gap between formal study and real client work, preparing you to make an immediate impact whatever stage of your career you’re at.
Each FAAS topic can count toward the 100 hours of structured training required during the PY. Each Topic builds real client skills and while meeting regulatory obligations at the same time.

Topics are organised into six modules, each intended (though not essential) to be completed over a one-week period. This modular approach enables participants to concentrate on manageable segments of content and progress methodically through the material.
Throughout each week, participants undertake activities and assignments directly related to real-world financial advisory scenarios. This practical approach ensures learners consistently apply theoretical concepts in contexts reflective of industry practice, thus cultivating essential, job-ready competencies. By submitting work weekly, participants reinforce their understanding through experiences closely aligned with professional standards and expectations.
Participants who fulfill all topic requirements will receive a certificate of completion.

Yes. Financial Adviser Accelerator Suite topics can be undertaken by anyone looking to develop their skills, regardless of their employment or licensee status.
If you are part of a licensee or employer group, corporate pricing options may also be available.
Each topic features a range of activities that may include practical tasks, quizzes, and reflections rather than assessments. These will vary in type and number depending on the topic. There are no due dates for activities; however, it is recommended that activities are completed in order. To complete a topic, all activities must be submitted and then reviewed by a Kaplan Professional academic.
Participants who successfully complete a topic will receive a Certificate of Completion.
For Professional Year participants, each topic equates to 20 hours of structured training. For qualified financial advisers, this may count as up to five (5) CPD hours.
