Anyone who meets the entry requirements for the Master, Graduate Diploma or Graduate Certificate of Applied Finance and demonstrates a strong commitment to progressing their career in finance is encouraged to apply.
There are two scholarship tiers available:
• Two (2) subjects – for motivated individuals with a clear commitment to professional growth.
• Four (4) subjects – for high-potential candidates with a strong track record and vision for leadership in finance

4. Submit your application between Monday, 21 July 2025 and Friday, 29 August 2025.
Your statement should outline:

• Any contributions you have made to the finance industry or community
• Why you believe you are a strong candidate for the scholarship
Scholarships are only available to those who are commencing their postgraduate applied finance course. Those who are already enrolled and currently studying are ineligible.
Yes! The Graduate Certificate especially is ideal for those new to the industry or transitioning from another field. We welcome applicants from diverse professional backgrounds.
Scholarship applications are open between Monday, 21 July 2025 and Friday, 29 August 2025. Successful applicants will be notified on Wednesday, 1 October 2025 and will be able to commence their studies in Study Period 6 2025, which commences on Monday, 27 October 2025.
Scholarship offers are tied to a commencement date of Study Period 6 2025 (commences Monday, October 27). If you need to defer, you may be required to reapply or request special consideration.
While you do not need to be an Australian citizen to be awarded a scholarship, you must be currently based in Australia and aged 18 or older at the time you commence your studies.
Individuals who are in Australia on a student visa are ineligible for a scholarship. If you are in Australia on a visa and wish to apply, you need to ensure you are enrolling in accordance with the study conditions of your visa.

Scholarships are awarded based merit, which may include:
• Academic history and performance
• Relevant work experience and achievements
• Strength and detail of written personal statement
To ensure fairness and transparency, we do not make scholarship decisions based on protected attributes such as race, gender, disability or other personal characteristics. All applicants are assessed equally based on the published criteria.
Scholarships cannot be combined with other Kaplan Professional discounts or promotional offers unless explicitly stated. However, eligible students may still access government financial assistance such as FEE-HELP for approved courses.
FEE-HELP is a loan program offered by the Commonwealth Government to help eligible students pay their tuition fees. This allows students to focus on their studies while managing other responsibilities such as work or family. The loan is repaid through the Australian tax system once the income threshold is met.
