On successful completion of specified subjects and assessments, Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand members will be eligible to apply for recognition as a Business Valuation Specialist through the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand.

On completion of these four subjects, together with recognition of prior learning towards four subjects for current Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand members who have completed the CA program, a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance will be awarded.
Members of the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand will need to be able to demonstrate a minimum of two years’ practical Business Valuation experience within the previous five years, where at least 20% of employment was related to business valuations and an additional 20% was related to the valuations field of work. This is the benchmark to meet the Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand Chartered Accountants’ requirements to be recognised as a Business Valuation Specialist.
