As a leading provider of professional education, Kaplan Professional was delighted to partner with ASX to bring you the latest market information and considerations for your clients’ portfolios.

At the ASX recent online event, their panel of experts discussed the results of the 2023 ASX Australian Investor Study and uncovered the main opportunities and challenges ahead in relation to changes in retail investor behaviour in a post-COVID world.

With speculation of a possible recession this year, Vanguard’s economist reflected on recent Australian and global events impacting share markets and highlighted implications for investors going forward.

Insights into the latest investment opportunities was presented by a dedicated panel of experts speaking on their top investment ideas for the coming year, as well as more focused presentations discussing Australian, Asian and international equities.

Finally, with higher interest rates, a portion of the day was dedicated to income investing strategies, including looking under the hood of the latest buy-write strategy products that have come to market as well as a presentation on the evolving role of fixed-income ETFs.

Event attendees are eligible for an indicative 5.25 FPA CPD hours.

Dedicated Ontrack modules

Subscribers will have the opportunity to explore topics from the event in more detail through eight dedicated modules in Kaplan Professional’s market-leading continuing education platform, Ontrack. The first of these modules are now available, with further modules to be released over the coming weeks. Individuals who complete all eight Ontrack modules will be eligible for an indicative 7 FPA CPD hours.
