Program structure

Developed with early-career professionals in mind, the structured topics focus on building essential client engagement skills and financial advice fundamentals. The program is structured around four key knowledge pillars, with each topic containing multiple modules.

Each topic is built for active, hands-on learning. Participants engage in weekly tasks grounded in real-world advice scenarios, applying knowledge in context and building job-ready skills. By submitting their work weekly, they reinforce learning through practical, workplace-aligned experience.
 
Participants who successfully complete all requirements of the topic will be awarded a certificate of completion.

Duration

Each topic is designed to be completed over six (6) weeks, with up to 12 weeks allowed for flexibility. Participants receive 20 hours of structured training per topic. For new entrants, these topics form a core part of the 100 hours of structured learning required during the Professional Year.

If participants are completing continuing professional development (CPD) and have a Kaplan Professional Ontrack account, then each topic will contribute five (5) hours of CPD that is automatically recognised in Ontrack.
