This subject focuses on the activities that should be undertaken within a company to implement effective financial management, and also the financial issues it may be face. It considers the range of funding options facing firms and provides a theoretical framework upon which to make these decisions.  The subject also discusses the role of the finance manager managing working capital and long-term assets. Practical application is achieved though analysis of both real Australian companies and scenarios (including liquidation) and hypothetical scenarios.

On successful completion of this subject, individuals should be able to:
