Individuals who successfully complete the program may apply to the Certified Finance and Mortgage Institute of Australasia (CFMIA) to gain either the ‘Certified Finance Broker’ (CFB) or ‘Certified Finance Consultant’ (CFC) designation. For more information, please contact CFMIA directly.

Assessment

The assessment tasks for this program are listed below:

Assessment	Details
One (1) Assignment	Written assignment – two (2) attempts • Option to complete one (1) of the two (2) case studies presented in the assignment: - Case Study A – includes three (3) tasks with short-answer questions - Case Study B – includes three (3) tasks with short-answer questions and a cash flow analysis.
One (1) Online quiz	Unsupervised, multiple choice quiz – three (3) attempts

Individuals must complete the online quiz and submit their assignment within twelve (12) weeks of their initial activation date. To successfully complete this program, individuals must demonstrate competency in the assignment, as well as achieve a pass rate of 70% in the online quiz.

Individuals who complete this program will receive a certificate of completion.

It’s compulsory individuals have completed the FNS50315 Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management to enrol in this program.

Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) requirements

This course requires you to read comprehensive learner workbooks, complete a range of written assessments, undertake independent research activities and at times engage in online forums and discussions. Furthermore, the delivery mode relies on the extensive use of written communication.

Individuals may enrol into the Advanced Program in Finance and Mortgage Lending at any time and begin studying immediately on enrolment. However, please see entry requirements for the Advanced Program in Finance and Mortgage Lending.

2 Delivery

This course is delivered online via Kaplan Professional’s learning management system, KapLearn.

Individuals will receive login details to KapLearn on enrolment. When logging on to KapLearn, individuals are able to access the program topic notes and assessment requirements. Assessments are submitted and completed through KapLearn.
