Are you looking at commencing work in real estate sales or property management in Victoria?
You will gain an introductory understanding of the property industry in Victoria, both the sales and property management aspects of working in real estate, as well as learning interpersonal communication techniques and strategies that will assist you to get off to a successful start in your first role.
Successful completion meets the educational requirement for Consumer Affairs Victoria to apply for registration to work as an agent representative in the property sector in Victoria.
Part 1: VIC Agent’s Representative Program and Part 2: VIC Estate Agents Licence Program need to be completed to be awarded the CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).

Individuals have a total of 26 weeks (6 months) to complete the learning and assessment requirements for the VIC Agents Representative Program from their initial activation date.
Extensions are available at an additional cost.
Individuals have a further 26 weeks (6 months) to complete the learning and assessment requirements for the VIC Estate Agent’s Licence Program from their initial activation date.
Individuals therefore have a total of 52 weeks (12 months) to complete the CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate).
The type of assessments for each subject are listed below. Units of competency are individually assessed within subjects, as listed in ‘Units of competency’.
Individuals may attempt the quizzes and/or submit their written assignments at any time if they believe they are adequately prepared. The Oral Assignment may be attempted when all other subjects are completed. Individuals will receive personal reminder emails as they approach their enrolment expiry deadline.
Individuals must be deemed competent in all assessment items, including demonstrating competency in all of the quiz questions, in order to be awarded their Statement of Attainment.

Individuals are required to be aged 18 years or older to enrol in this course.
This course requires you to read comprehensive learner workbooks, complete a range of written assessments, undertake independent research activities and at times engage in online forums and discussions. Furthermore, the delivery mode relies on the extensive use of written and oral communication.

To become an Agent’s Representative in Victoria, you must complete the relevant educational program and any other requirement as prescribed by Consumer Affairs Victoria.
To become a licensed estate agent, you must have gained the equivalent of at least one year’s full-time experience as an agent’s representative in the three years immediately before applying for a licence. You must also complete the relevant educational program and any other requirement as prescribed by Consumer Affairs Victoria.
Kaplan Professional’s CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) meets these educational requirements and will give you the education required to register with the Business Licensing Authority, and also provide you with the fundamental entry level knowledge required to work in sales or property management.
Individuals who successfully complete Part 1 Victoria Agent representative will receive the following units of competency:
Individuals who successfully complete Part 2 will receive a CPP40307 Certificate IV in Property Services (Real Estate) with the following units of competency:

To do this, you must submit evidence that demonstrates that you have already met the requirements of the subject through these other means.
